Unlike others, Michael had mentors that helped him navigate through business, and learn life skills at the age of 25 to today. He has since had an extremely robust career as an entrepreneur on 4 continents, and founder, and manager of multiple funds.

He volunteered for many programs but saw a serious gap in “after care”, especially for veterans. Many were handouts, instead of a hand up.

This is not sustainable.

Lifespark is his legacy. An 18-year vision put into action. A for-profit that supports education and workforce non-profits exclusively, without solely relying on the government, donors, or religious institutions.

“If we follow the teachings of Jesus, he always met people’s physical needs first, then their spiritual needs. He fed them. People can’t hear what you say on an empty stomach or when worried about the electric bill. I know, I’ve been broke, homeless, and hungry. This is where Lifespark teaches people to fish through education, and opportunity to eliminate poverty."
